Purpose

This document sets out the informed consent text for participation in the MGF Sandalwood Plantation Programme. It is distinct from the enquiry consent checkbox on the online form.

Online enquiries confirm contact consent only — see the privacy notice. This consent is signed at the lease execution stage.

1. Programme understanding

I confirm that I understand:

1. Sandalwood participation is structured through a 30-year registered lease with professional stewardship — not a securities offering or guaranteed-return investment.
2. Sandalwood growth is biological; harvest requires Kerala Forest Act permissions; market prices vary.
3. MGF is a Section 8 nonprofit; programme proceeds support charitable initiatives.
4. Fees, allocation details, and lease terms are disclosed in the lease instrument and plantation brief — not implied by website marketing copy.

2. Documents received

I confirm I have received and had opportunity to review:

• Programme guidelines
• Terms and conditions
• Privacy notice
• The registered lease agreement and plot/tree register (as applicable)

3. Data processing consent

I consent to MGF processing my personal data for:

• Lease registration and land records
• Plantation stewardship and periodic reporting
• Regulatory compliance with forest and revenue authorities
• Contact regarding my participation

I understand my rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as described in the privacy notice.

4. Risk acknowledgement

I acknowledge the biological, operational, market, regulatory, and force majeure risks described in the programme guidelines. I understand insurance coverage is subject to policy terms and limits.

I have been advised to seek independent legal and tax advice before signing.

5. NRI participants (if applicable)

I confirm I understand high-level FEMA/remittance requirements for overseas participants and will comply with applicable RBI regulations. I have been advised to consult independent counsel on remittance and documentation (identity, address, PoA if applicable).
